Oh boy do we have some treats for you this week! We have, not one, but two awesome parties with, not one, but two awesome sets of guest-DJs! So excited!
The DJ for our night on Thursday is our friend Ian Watson of How Does It Feel To Be Loved? in London. Weather the club is in the deep dirty south in Brixton or in Central London it's always an amazing night out with all boys and girls dressed up to their teeth in polkadot dresses and button down (Though seldom at the same time). Ian has visited Malmö twice before and it's always been a packed fun filled night and we've had equally fun times when having had the honour to play his night. Ian plays a great mix of sixties tunes and new and classic indiepop and if you've missed HDIF he's together a podcast you can have a listen to. Fun!
On Saturday we're very happy to have The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart gang playing records after their gig at Malmöfestivalen. The Pains have since their debut become one of the most loved and celebrated noise pop bands. And with good reason, as their specially roasted New York City blend of Buzzcocks, Field Mice and My Bloody Valentine has been as exciting on record as it has been on gigs. We've been curious as to what makes them tick so we've invited them to play records at So Tough! So Cute! for the official after-after party!
